This test for Lorraine Hansberry’s play, A Raisin in the Sun, consists of fifteen multiple choice questions, five true/false questions, and four short answer questions.

An answer key is included for the multiple choice and true/false section and suggested answer content is also offered for the short answer questions.

This multiple choice and true/false questions are formatted to fit on the front and back of a single sheet of paper, which means the two main portions of the test can be given separately – one section of cut-and-dry multiple choice & true/false questions and one section of written response questions.

Depending on your classroom needs, you might decide to use the test in a single class session or, alternatively, use the multiple choice & true/false section as the first step of a reading review and use the short answer section as its own unit-ending exam.
